Fendog’s Birthday Beer and Cheese
Good time last night at the Beer and Cheese evening for Fendog’s birthday. The present my kids’ got him seemed to be his favourite:
I think what made it so special was that they made it themselves. They’re always the best gifts.
I ended up spending £15 on two pieces of cheese at the Covered Market – but damn they were good! An amazing aged goat Gouda, and half a Montbriac. The sinful nature exerted itself in my irritation that having splashed out so much, I had to share it with those who brought inferior specimens. However, I’m sure the Lord will forgive my utter outrage at the muppet who brought this:
